Market Set to Open Weekend of December 7-8

Just in time for holiday food preparations, the 2013-2014 Tilton Winter Farmers’ Market will open Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8, once again at the old Agway Building on Route 3 in Tilton. We’re looking forward to an exciting third year, and are grateful for this wonderful space, made available to us with the generous, ongoing support of AutoServ of Tilton. The market is conveniently located off I-93 at Exit 20. This season, the market will operate weekends from 10 a.m. To 2 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday, from December 7 to March 30.

A destination for food lovers from throughout the state and beyond, the market will again feature more than 45 vendors, offering the state’s finest fresh and locally-produced food products, along with carefully selected, agriculturally-based crafts. With such easy access to I-93, regular shoppers include out-of-state people traveling to New Hampshire vacation homes and weekend visitors to the Lakes Region, as well as the many, many local residents who support the market. The result? A colorful, bustling scene, every weekend day throughout the winter!

The market offers a wide range of locally-produced, farm-fresh and organic produce and greens, winter storage crops, meats, eggs, dairy, cheese, breads, pastries, gourmet popcorn, gluten-free products, vegan foods, tomatoes, garlic, mushrooms, veggie burgers, fudge, apples, cider, honey, granola, maple syrup, jams, jellies, freshly roasted coffee, teas, beer, wine, gourmet food items, body care products, information on composting worms, herbal products, dog treats and more. Each Saturday and Sunday will also feature live music, information about sourcing local products and services and abundant sampling of delicious foods.

Stay in touch for updates by subscribing to this site and “liking” us on Facebook. Want to help the market grow even stronger this year? Invite a friend to come with you!

Interested vendors should e-mail Joan O’Connor  or call her at 603.496.1718.

See you at the market!

  1. I am interested to find out if a Face painter like Cedar last year would do good there again this year? I am the local face painter here in Tilton area, I live a mile from the market, and at the moment I am available for the weekends, except Dec 14th. Thank you, Judy Tyler 728-9445
